In the Gardens [Monday Evening]

As the sun begins to set, Rend returns to the guildhouse. He is carrying a large stone tablet and a small canvas bag.

He brings the items around back into the garden and leans the tablet against a tree near the edge of the property.

Kneeling before the tablet, he removes a chisel and hammer from the bag and begins carefully etching Molgur-Trul runes into the top of the tablet. The Trollkin finishes his work in a few minutes. He puts the chisel and hammer back into the bag and places it behind the tree.

Most of the tablet is empty, with the exception of a line of runes at the top.

*The next day, Yuri goes out and pretends to read the rune. Then he goes back inside.*

Any plants that once grew in the garden have been killed by coal suit, or choked out by the general cloud of smoke that hangs overhead during the working hours of the day.
